What Is Meditation? (and why do we need it in our lives?) Well My friends, meditation helps ground us. Gives us stability and purpose. By meditating daily, morning or evening, we produce a sense of calm throughout our body and our lives. The body is relaxed the mind becomes sharper and we just feel overall better. It doesn’t take fancy classes or a stack of books to learn how it’s done, maybe just a knowledge of color and what these colors mean to us individually.

Once you have established the colors that resonate with you and your body, you can begin to use them in your meditations. As an example, the color Gold represents to me my union with my GOD. I use this color to begin all of my meditations, asking for guidance and clarity. Then I like to use in conjunction with my gold, the color green for my healing. The color green is mainly used for scanning my body for areas that need special attention. An ache or pain or areas where I know I am having trouble medically. Bathing these areas in the color green gives me the feeling that I am using the color to rejuvenate, grow or replenish that which is weak and needs healing. After I go from head to toe, acknowledging every area separately, I begin the journey back up my body with the pure white light of GOD’S power to make me whole once again.

Once you have chosen your colors, and each color has a different meaning, you can begin your version of what this meditation can do for you. I hope you find this practice as rewarding as I do.
